Do not use them as your only plan when the roster is under-geared. Explosives amplify preparation; they do not replace it.

The bag is sacred

Community reports include ending a run by eggplosive-killing the backpack. Treat the bag like a fragile VIP:

1. Know where the bag sits before you throw a blast.
2. Aim explosions away from the bag’s resting lane.
3. If Mini’Ohs and bag share a tight pocket, wake and separate bodies first.
4. Prefer mining picks for the last tiles hugging the bag.

If you destroy the bag, the Incursion effectively fails even if tiles remain. That is not “bad RNG”—it is blast hygiene.

Blast sequencing that works

1. Wake sleepers (care guide).
2. Place or confirm carry Mini’Oh away from the blast epicenter if needed.
3. Clear a safe cone away from the bag.
4. Detonate.
5. Immediately send miners into the new cavity while auto-collect upgrades scoop loot.
6. Only then consider a second blast.

Two smaller, aimed explosions usually beat one greedy boom beside everything you love.

Synergies with equipment and upgrades

Explosives pair well with:

• Collection radius upgrades (loot sprays farther after big clears)
• Auto-collect-on-clear upgrades praised in Prologue feedback
• Lightning-on-block or thrown-damage gear that finishes stragglers
• Throw distance so you can reseat Mini’Ohs after the terrain changes
